Fortum is heading the project and will test a system containing active houses where the residents will be able to take control of their consumption through smart displays.
The meter measures the electricity use accurately so that it is possible to monitor the energy consumption more closely than before. Because of this, consumers will always be billed according to the actual electricity use.

The solar cell park is located in Arvika municipality in Sweden. In 2009 the park was connected to Fortum's electricity grid in Sweden.
